Terns Again
Remember these two from May 20th? Do you begin to smell a rat (or a tern)?

A welcome re-tern
Ron Shavreen: A bit of a flying visit!
I smelt the rat in your reply the other day Ron, don't be sorry both pictures are well worth seeing anyway.
Ron Shavreen: The original was a single bird against a totally blank, white sky. At least that made it easier to work with.
Did you have to clean your lens after this one?
Ron Shavreen: No, I have to wear a big hat now!
LOL at Bill.
Ron Shavreen: Well one of them was really real!
I like the sense of motion in this one
Ron Shavreen: Thanks Aksel. It took a lot of working on!
wel spotted
lovely composition
Ron Shavreen: Thank you Doc, I'm glaad you like it.
It's been a while, Ron. Are you on a subbatical from shutter?
Ron Shavreen: Hi Viktor,
Good to hear from you. Afraid I've been battling cancer since the summer when it reappeared in my thyroid. Not been an easy time. Fortunately I have enough funds to explore alternative therapies as our dear NHS is very limited in what it can offer - cut, burn or poison seems to be the choice. Having had enough of that already I am looking a newer, less proven routes. Unfortunately it was discovered just at the time we were planning our house swop to California so we had to cancel that. Our exchangers arrived, spent some time with us, lived in our house whilst I was away having treatment down south and stayed with other friends when convenient so they weren't put out and it did give us a chance to meet them which was welcome. If I get through this we'll go to Ca another time. If you want to know more (a considerable amount more) you could take a look at my blog but give yourself an hour or so! http://ronscancer.blogspot.com/ As for photography, well it has taken second place or more like eighth or ninth actually so little happening on that score. However as you may read on the blog, I may be off to Germany for some treatment in the New Year so hopefully that will produce some photo-ops. I haven't even looked at Shutterchance for months so no comments made or pictures posted. Perhaps I'll find time to do that soon. Thanks for the contact - everything helps. Best wishes Ron
Oh, Ron, what a wonderful pic- it is a pity that I never before looked at your blog- and now, today, after having read Bill's words about your death- I feel a little symbolism in this photo- the birds could look like souls, hovering above the earth, flying to...they symbolizes also freedom for me...Farewell, good Ron! And my best wishes for your family!
