photoblog image Pretty Maids

Pretty Maids

Another scanned print.  Another one I remembered.  Only 5 minutes work in Photoshop.

This was taken on a grey day in the Loire Valley, France.  I stood on the roof of my car for twenty minutes waiting for a 'sunny interval'.  One came eventually, but not before the roof developed a small but noticeable dent.  There are a few French people who think that English tourists are weird!

HA! What we go through for a good pic! Well, Ron, it was worth it, I see. I can't tell if those are Blackeyed Susans or sunflowers, though. Definitely "pretty maids" all in a row! smile
Ron Shavreen: Hi Ginnie. It was worth it and PS has definitely brought subtle improvements. They are sunflowers so I was lucky to get there at the right time of day as they turn their heads to follow the sun all through the day.
Very crowdy ! smile Have you made a choice. For sure, a very, very good picture !
Ron Shavreen: Thanks Florence. Praise from a photographer with an eye as good as yours is doubly satisfying.
Stunning ron. No other word for it. Great treatment aswell - i had to turn the brightness down on my screen!
Fan - bloomin - tastic.
Ron Shavreen: Thanks Eddy. I had to look at about 100 fields before I found one with a nice little building to make a focal point. Glad you like it.
wonderful! fantastic!
Ron Shavreen: Thanks Nicola: This is what I go on holiday for!

I'm so glad you decided to be a weird English tourist and got this fabulous picture, it was well worth the wait. smile
Ron Shavreen: Thank you Ellie: I waited and waited and all I got was watery sunshine. It had to be enough - and no PS to the rescue in those days!
